"Perfect Portrait is really a simple program but the amount of time that it can save you is just amazing. It is extremely easy to use and completely modifiable so that I can't see why it wouldn't be used anytime there is a face in an image. "How well does Genuine Fractals work? I took a few photos, upsampled them using Genuine Fractals, and submitted them to two stock photography houses that don't accept upsampled images. (They've even rejected more than a dozen of my images that they suspected were upsampled.) My original images were 3002x2000 pixels and I scaled them up to 6004x4000 before submitting them. The stock photography houses evaluated the photos and accepted all of them."

"If you are a huge fan of doing things in-camera, then a Lensbaby is a great lens to use. However, the amount of effects that you can get is limited. If you have the time to swap lenses and get the image dialed in, the effect is very cool. If you don't have a Lensbaby, or if you find later that you have a great shot that would have been even better with that effect, then you are out of luck without a re-shoot. With Focal Point, we can now add the effect in post production and get very similar results."

Even better is if it's a program that's actually useful along with being fun. There are loads of options available and the new interface makes it easy to mix match and decide what works. There are thousands of possible border combinations and it's easy to use.
