"Perfect Portrait is really a simple program but the amount of time that it can save you is just amazing. It is extremely easy to use and completely modifiable so that I can't see why it wouldn't be used anytime there is a face in an image. The changes that you are able to make really take just minutes and the results are phenomenal.

Perfect Layers

"Perfect Layers from onOne Software distills down and codifies the often-complex task of working in Layers to a fairly simple task, offering various Blend modes, composite shortcuts and oils that might otherwise pose a steep learning curve."

— George Schaub, Shutterbug Magazine

"Perfect Layers 2 had taken version 1 into a whole new dimension by simple but effective additions... The file browser not only helps to streamline things but also lightens the pressure on your system resources, since you only have to open one software package at a time rather than several."

"[Perfect Resize] is and will always be the best solution for enlarging digital photos."

— Vincent Versace, Award-Winning Photographer

"I went into this thinking Photoshop does a pretty good job of enlarging your images. And then I tried Genuine Fractals and I realized, there is no other way."

— Matt Kloskowski, Photoshop Guru and host of Photoshop User TV

"Genuine Fractals Professional 6 is now the standard that I base all other resizing tools against. The performance is very good, and more importantly, the results are outstanding. OnOne Software has done a great job with this upgrade, making it a worthwhile purchase for current or new users."

"Interpolation - the process of adding pixels to an image - should be handled with care. Using Photoshop's Image Size dialog... sometimes works, but quality can suffer. We got better results with Genuine Fractals."

"How well does Genuine Fractals work? I took a few photos, upsampled them using Genuine Fractals, and submitted them to two stock photography houses that don't accept upsampled images. (They've even rejected more than a dozen of my images that they suspected were upsampled.) My original images were 3002x2000 pixels and I scaled them up to 6004x4000 before submitting them. The stock photography houses evaluated the photos and accepted all of them."

— Dave Huss, Photoshop User Magazine

"The prints I made startled me. Any flaws that enlargement would ordinarily accentuate, such as camera blur or weak edges, were of course exaggerated by the degree of enlargement, as you might expect. But those artifacts and jaggies that I thought would occur due to over-enlargement, limitations assumed by file size, were simply not there."

— George Schaub, Shutterbug

"Genuine Fractals just keeps getting better. It installs easily and really requires no learning curve to begin to use it. This new version of Genuine Fractals 6.0 represents a significant update of onOne's award-winning plug-in software. This version, while retaining the same powerful scaling capabilities, has enhanced its scaling engine and added more end user control for even more fine range image management than ever before."

"[Mask Pro] provides a very easy technique for improving the quality of your isolated objects, making them seem more believable on any new background."

— Advanced Photoshop Magazine

"Mask Pro is pretty amazing. If you want to do serious masking in Photoshop, manually selecting can be a tough job. Mask pro is great for getting fine tuned selections, and doing it fast. Even hard to mask things, like backgrounds behind a semi-transparent item (such as a wedding veil) Can be effectively pulled free, allowing you to change or alter the background."

"onOne Software developed an effective way of controlling sharp and out-of-focus areas in a photo with FocalPoint. This is a fun program to play with - you can shift the sharp and soft parts of a photo all over for some great, high-impact results."

— Rob Sheppard, Outdoor Photographer Magazine

"If you are a huge fan of doing things in-camera, then a Lensbaby is a great lens to use. However, the amount of effects that you can get is limited. If you have the time to swap lenses and get the image dialed in, the effect is very cool. If you don't have a Lensbaby, or if you find later that you have a great shot that would have been even better with that effect, then you are out of luck without a re-shoot. With Focal Point, we can now add the effect in post production and get very similar results."

"I love software that is so intuitive and easy to use that before you know it, it's up and running on your computer and you're playing around with it and having a blast. Even better is if it's a program that's actually useful along with being fun. One of the niftiest imaging tools I tried this past year is a plug-in from onOne Software called FocalPoint 1.0 which lets you easily add selective focus and vignetting to your images."

PhotoFrame

"PhotoFrame 4.6 Professional Edition is the latest version of a really cool plug-in that adds realistic film edges and edge effects, such as torn paper or brushstrokes, to the edges of your images. There are lots of new features jammed into this latest version."

— Dave Huss, Photoshop User Magazine

"Sometimes you just want to add a sloppy border, acid burn, or other creative edge. PhotoFrame is the best I've found. There are loads of options available and the new interface makes it easy to mix match and decide what works. There are thousands of possible border combinations and it's easy to use. The pro version gives you a few extra frames, as well as Aperture and Lightroom integration. What more can I say?"
